CUTTING BACK ON BOOZE THIS JANUARY?

We’ve got you covered with our 4 tiny tinnies.

We have:

  • TREAD LIGHTLY Lager 3.3% abv – ultra low ABV. Crisp and refreshing with a subtle zesty finish
  • DOVE TREE White IPA 5.9% abv- tangerine & clementine flavours with a tropical aroma
  • DAWN Pink Brut IPA 5.7% abv- dry and crisp with notes of stone fruit and a pale pink hue – yes! We’ve gone rosé for this re-release
  • SMALL RIOT Vanilla & Almond Milkshake Pale 4.9% abv- sweet and nutty with a silky smooth finish

The new 330ml range is looking great. But don’t forget, as with all our beers, we like to link them up to stories about Richmond Park. So, what’s the story behind these 4 beers?

Well…

Made with locally sourced hops and UK ingredients, Tread Lightly is our low abv, low carbon footprint beer. First released in 2016, we joined forces with Friends of Richmond Park to help amplify a message to #TreadLightly in Richmond Park. Leave nothing behind. Take nothing home with you. The can artwork makes a nod to the campaign film, starring David Attenborough, which urges people to look after the park. Watch this film here.

Dove Tree is back after a 5+ year break. We’ve been desperate to fit this into our brew schedule ever since its initial launch. It’s an ode to a rare and unusual Dove Tree which can be found in both Richmond Park and Kew Gardens. Legendary plant hunter Ernest Wilson eventually located this sought-after exotic tree in China and sent seeds back to Kew in 1901. Both trees stem from the same antique seed collection!

Dawn Brut is another returning beer, with a twist- we all need some colour in our lives after 2021 so we’ve added a new pink tone to this beer. Plus, we finally gave our popular Brut a proper name- Dawn. Named after a small winter-flowering blossom that can be found near the lower ponds of the Isabella Plantation, Richmond Park. Viburnum x bodnantense (Dawn) is pictured on the can.

Lastly, but by no means least, we have Small Riot. A nod to the riots that broke out after new laws were passed which blocked common access to Richmond Park in the 1700s. Long court battles were fought, led by local legend and brewer John Lewis, and eventually the people won; access to the park was granted once and for all. This beer continues the story highlighted by our core range beer, Amelia Pale Ale. More about this story here.

So go on. What are you waiting for? We can’t wait for you to try these 4 tiny tinnies.
